That is a nice video and very nice engine.  I hate to think what that owner shelled out in total in buying the "whole nine yards."   (Especially because he likely had to buy the regular set first, with the regular engine, then re-buy the smoke-sound engine.)   Fun, nonetheless and good to see on a hot, humid day like today!

ONE QUESTION:  Is the voice in the conductor sound car really Tom Hanks'?  Listening to this, I am not really sure.

The video was Of course on the old layout  Yes all of its out of the box. It has rail sounds NOT Train sounds its very nice. I did have a problem with the heating element and the wick was rock hard after two days easily replaced with tiki torch. Thanks for the views guys!

Thats my video and yes thats tom hanks. Its a very nice car because it has an on off switch if you don't want the sound. I shelled out well over a thousand on all that polar express stuff  and now have the new set and tunnel on order. Yes i bought EVERY SINGLE PE ITEM even the whole set and trainsounds tender. Its humid in that room now thats why i moved the layout.

That's what I was affraid of Jon.  Not being able to upgrade it is a bummer.  Any plans for a Legacy version of the semi-scale PE? Would the same apply to all the new conventional engines with Railsounds? I was hoping the new scale 0-4-0 would be offered in Legacy, but I've only seen conventional. No hopes of upgrading those either? Too bad if that's the case.
