I purchased a Lionel 6519 Allis Chalmers condenser car. The brake wheels on the end are broken off but I have them. Does anybody know of a good adhesive for glueing these back on? Also as well for postwar Alcos with a cracked apron below the coupler?

Not sure if all your parts are metal? If yes, I've had good outcomes using JB Weld (2-part) epoxy on my pre-war stuff from broken marker lights to pilots, etc.

second on the JB weld...works great on steamer cowcatchers.
Thanks for the replies. These parts are plastic.
I would not use JB weld.
I would not use CA. I tried it on the step of a 3419 helicopter car and it did not hold well.
Liquid Styrene cement (used sparingly) worked well for me. It would probably would well on your 6519
It may take some experimentation, but if all of the plastic is still there, a water-thin solvent based cement is the way to go.
Solvent adhesive is best as CA is a surface tension adhesive.
