Press hard on select wheel on DCS remote?

Needs to be sent in for repair to dealer or Mth. This has happend to both of my remotes. One was repaired by the dealer and the other Mth.

If you are comfortable with taking the remote apart, clean the contact on the rubber button mat.

Yeah I'm pretty comfy with taking things apart.  I was kinda wondering if it was just dirty or actually needed a repair.

As Dave said, I think some have had success with contact cleaning. Mine was doing that, took it apart and there was broken piece on the plastic bracket that holds the wheel in place. I ordered a new wheel from MTH. I ended up shimming it back up with a small, cut to fit, piece of wood so I could use it while waiting on the part. I still have the new part (unused) and the wood shim is still doing it's job in the remote. But now I have the part in case the wood or something else fails.
