I've been going through many of my PS1 Boards now, sorting out the good from the bad. This one is a bit new.

No sound at all in startup.

Cycle into forward: motor spins, but no sounds

Go into neutral: motor stops, idle sounds start playing

Go into reverse, motor spins in reverse, no sounds

Return to neutral, idle sounds play

Shut down: regular shut down sounds play and normal shutdown executed.

I assume one of the regulators that changes the sound in proportion to the motor voltage is bad. Which regulator would that likely be? I just ordered a bunch of replacement parts, and I can swap it out if I know which one.

In this picture, would it be the orange, green or purple one? Or something else?
