I bought this RailKing 1162-1 used and it did not have a battery so I put in a fresh MTH battery and all was well.  After about 10 laps it quit running, no sounds, no lights, no movement.  I let it rest and tried again letting it sound off in neutral at about 6 volts, tried to go up higher but it died again before it hit 9 volts on the transformer (Z4000).  Tried everything I could think of but still nothing.   After rest it will idle in neutral and has the crew and steam sounds but I cannot go over 8 volts to start or after warming up.  I tried to reset it to factory settings while in neutral but as soon as I hit the whistle button it dies.  I would appreciate any help on this as I'm not good with these newer trains, I'm conventional but this was a nice Pennsylvania and I have nothing else with sounds.

Thanks for any advice.

Nick
