"HONGZ" stands for HO scale, N scale, G scale, and Z scale.

Post your non-O scale stuff here!

My father bought an Arnold Rapido "N" scale set for me back in 1964, from Jenkintown Hobbies.

That was the United Aircraft TurboTrain.  Rapido previously also made it both in HO and N in Amtrak, CN, VIA and Demo.

This is the Rohr Industries Turboliner:

Rapido will produce this IF they get enough reservations by March 17, 2020.

IF Rapido was smart, they would make a Modular cab and do the

French version, The Amtrak midwest RTG and the RTL, RTGII... Plus the Rebuild demonstrator!

thats 5 color schemes and two different cab versions! the RTG should give the Jouef version a run for the money!

I wouldn't be surprised if they receive those suggestions.  Production on the Turboliner depends on reservations.  If they find there's enough interest in the French version and rebuilds, they will probably consider it.

Rapido is a pretty smart company, but even they will shelve a project if there isn't enough interest to make it worth to cut tooling.

I am really not into HO, although own a Piko Chinese CRH high speed train, and some Hornby OO HST sets, but I ordered this train.  I loved the Turboliners as a passenger and fan.  Both the Rohrer and RTG versions. I doubt we will see this in O Scale , so I will buy this HO version which will be perfection from Rapido.  Already preordered this.  I have the Jouef RTG Turboliner in HO which is not really very good.  One of the Joueffe coaches turned a yellowish color but not the other cars, all stored in same conditions.
