Update 11-06-2022
Dave Ripp. Appreciate your comment. BEEPs are really neat locomotives and the pulling power of a BEEP has been demonstrated many times in GRJ videos and on customer posts thru YouTube. If anyone had a problem with BEEP operation, it usually was due to track conditions...grade or curve etc., or perhaps a blown circuit board. BEEPs were programmed to run at a lower high speed and if a customer tried to 'crank up' the voltage, a burned circuit board was the result. These original BEEP circuit boards were upgraded on later production and were replaced until BEEP production ended almost 10 years ago.
Ken lionel...By the way, a burnt circuit board usually resulted in a slower speed with a greatly reduced pulling ability, (and this may be your root problem) but...the BEEP still ran.
Thanks.
