Finishing up here at the factory in China and meeting with Designers and Builders.
Due to a gap in production, 2 of our factories (Assembly Facilities) are interested in finishing the Rock Island Rockets ASAP. This is what we've been waiting for to make a short run of these.
This very unique train made of EMC TA Diesels and Budd Cars that ran in the middle of our country in the 1940s. We have been advertising these for a couple years and finally have the opportunity to put them into production. We are making only 75 TAs and Sets of Cars. I have set production levels based on orders and we have only a few remaining reservations for these. Mostly for the primary set, Peoria.
The TA will be a Brass body diesel with Horizontal motor design similar to our other diesel productions. Why Brass? Because production levels are relatively small. The cars will be of Aluminum construction and and each set has at least 2 cars that are articulated (sharing a truck). It's a very interesting and unique train for your layout or collection.
But as the days pass, it will get harder to accommodate further reservations, so act quickly. These ain't cheap, but they will be accurate and with only 75 sets in 2R and 3R combined, they will never be found in the secondary market. So now's your chance.
