My Congressional cars are still waiting for trucks and lettering, but if you want to run some State cars with ours that would be fun. A good chance to compare the pulling power of your new GG1 to the old Gold Standard version!
I'm bringing the PRR "GG2" to pull a string of 200 series freights as well, including the SGMA cars.
Should be fun!

Amazing ! Can't wait to see it
I am in town this week and will be dropping by!

Its a shame that loco is so small. I have finally got my layout sorted to allow my 800E behemoth to run with adequate clearances. Now to arrange a max pull test!

Hey Kirk,
I'll have the new GG1 to run, it is, at this point, way lighter than the Hendrichs - I can fix that. So I suspect it will be no contest at this time. I'll see what I can jam into the truck, got a lot of stuff ready to run now. Will be great to see the GG2 running, was a bitter disappointment that it didn't run right at Oaks.
Really looking forward to the show!

Great to hear you've punched out the sheetrock, Rob. Post a video when you get a chance.

Jim-
To be honest, I've lost track of what we packed for the trip, but the beautiful GG2 you built for me and the Gold standard GG! were a must. We also have an extended Hiawatha set and the Commodore Vanderbilt, a repro AF Pocahontas, several crates of 200 and 500 series freight cars and an assortment of MTH repro locomotives. If we can sort out the coupler issue, an original 42 may make the cut too.
Kirk
Looking forward to seeing the display!

Thank you for posting the link for the videos .,,looks like it was a great time running trains
We had lots of fun, the time went too fast, a couple of things broke, but I gotta say, the Challenger and GG1 ran flawlessly. Very happy about that.

Jim, both your engines did not disappoint, they looked fabulous. In fact everything was outstanding.
