The club (Lone Star Hi Railers) have a Lionel Scrambler ride but it stalls after about 2-3 minutes of running. It's the motor. Lionel not longer has parts for this and I've been trying to find something that works. I e-mailed Mike Reagan and he suggested a motor but it almost burnt the PCB. I found a motor that works at Radio Shack, it needs a variable voltage motor but it it too large and the worm gear will not fit even if I could get it off. The old motor mount fell apart, probably from sitting in a non climate controlled storage shed for a few years.
Any suggestions? The music plays and the lights flash but it just sits there.
