The above message comes out when I click on the WEB STORE text.

The URL is shop.ogaugerr.com

I now see the problem.

The domain "shop.ogaugerr.com" is not secure, but it doesn't need to be. No private information is exchanged on that domain. The CHECKOUT page at "https://ogaugerr.com/checkout/" is secure. This is where you enter credit card info.

I can see that this is confusing. I will change the site so that shop.ogaugerr.com is secure too. Even though it's not needed, it will eliminate this confusion.

Thanks for bringing this to my attention.

hi I would suggest that you check your date and time on your computer!!!!! if the date is not correct and time you WILL GET THAT MESSAGE!

believe me i  know as I repair and sell computers, the problem is probably at YOUR END not the web store  you are trying to get a hold of!

Sincerely hope this helps!

Alan

Did anyone read the above? Not sure if Rich addressed the issue with the it yet.

As far as the OGR forum is concerned, it doesn't require a credit card so I'm not sure how that fits in.  The issue is only with the shop OGR.

I suppose you can call them and place your order if you're concerned about your CC information.

Hey Marty:  We all know how to read the King's Language.

There is an issue, they do not take cash,  You can give them your credit card number, I will stay away,  Google Chrome & Apple Safari are billion dollar corporations.  I trust them and the OGR Forum and Hoopla to fix this issue, not you.

I wasn't trying to "fix the issue" and didn't mean to upset you.  I was trying to be helpful by pointing out that Rich is aware and said the store is secure.  I hope that Rich can help you with the issue.  You can still call them with an order and give them your CC over the phone.

Regardless I hope it gets straightened out.  I used the alert to let the webmaster know that it's still a concern so perhaps they'll be able to help quicker.

Cheers

Marty

The page that is giving you this error is not secure. It doesn't have to be! There is no information entered on that page that is private. I am working to solve this little glitch, but honestly, some of you are blowing this WAY out of proportion.

The CHECKOUT PAGE, where you actually enter your credit card info, IS secure. That's the only page you need to worry about.

Gary, I just noticed something in your post. Where did you get this error? What did you click on that brought up that message?

I'm puzzled because we don't sell anything here via the forum. All our product and subscription sales are handled via our the web store at ogaugerr.com. Nothing is sold here.

Hi Rich: CEO

I just checked it at 4:43 PM EDT -  all is well.

A short story, two weeks ago, my wife ask me what I wanted for my birthday.  I gave her the printed OGR Catalog. (Ameri-Towne 2015), said surprise me, pick out several Ameri-Towne structures.

Yesterday was my birthday, did the usual stuff, got several gifts.  I ask her what happen to my wish list from the OGR Catalog.  She stated that she was getting the warnings about the credit card not safe to use.

I check it yesterday and got the same warnings posted by member, Mathew Jones. I posted two screenshots, showing the issue.  So I reported the same issue as Mr. Jones.

All I can say the two, screenshots happen at the start of the process. Click, "WEB STORE" - than got stopped by the Google Chrome & Safari. "Credit Card Warning"

Hope this helps....

Thanks Gary: from Michigan, the state with no palm trees but we have Lionel & MTH trains.
