Gentlemen-  Wayne and I will be co-moderating (co-modulating?) the SGMA display at the World's Greatest Hobby on Tour train show February 8th and 9th, 2020 (set-up February 7th).  At this time we need definite commitments from all members who will be bringing modules.  If you are bringing modules, please let us know as soon as possible how many modules you can provide, and the dimensions of those modules, including trackless scenery modules.  If you  can bring corner modules, please let us know that as well.

The last time we did this show we had a 50'x70' display, and had 41,000 spectators.  Can we beat that??

Kirk,

As I recall WGHT Dulles was one of SGMA's earliest shows, and in my humble opinion, was and still is one of the club's greatest!

With nearly all members at that time participating, the number of modules we had allowed the club to build a "huge" modified figure 8 layout that was also fun to operate as it included a super long section of straight track that ran the full length of one side of the layout,  This feature allowed club members to run their SG trains up to their maximum speeds.  Watching them barreling down that straight track was truly exciting.  Furthermore, I don't believe the number and variety of SG trains the club ran during that show has been matched to this day!  As evident by the number of club member's videos posted below, and there are many others by non-club members. it certainly was one of the best documented shows that SGMA has ever had.  Enjoy!!!!!!!
