I have had some decent success using Vallejo out of my Iwata, but I definitely prefer Tamiya.

Fantastic model. Who made it.
Thanks,
The UP challenger model was imported by Key in 1984.
Here is my brass CB&Q EA shovel nose Zephyr.

I just picked this up from Ed Rappe a few weeks ago. Sunset Brass PRR K4. I haven't had the pleasure of seeing it yet. I am moving and it is at the new house while I am getting the old house ready to sell.

@nikkormat beautiful j3a!
Key's latest! I had never considered a Cab Forward with a Black Face but I wanted one with ''Southern Pacific Lines' on the tender in small letters. Dave told me this is what he had left (the other one he had was Southern Pacific in large letters) I chose this one and I REALLY like the Black face. To samparfitt: I have one of those Challengers also.
Beautiful loco, Pete!! Whenever I think of NYC steam, I immediately think Hudson, Niagara and Mohawk; it's nice to see something different.
Brass is too nice to let this fall off the active list...A few additions since my last post.
A CLW PS-4 Sending it off to be painted soon.
3rd Rail Chlorine car...Was a 3 rail car am converting to 2 rail. Changed trucks to 33" KTM brass, but need to paint them black. Also waiting on some kadee couplers to arrive to finish if off.
Great looking stuff guys. Always a nice thread to browse! ❤️🥰
I picked up one of 3rd Rail's C&O Alleghenies recently, I should have taken some pictures before packing it back up! Phenomenally detailed, I'm almost afraid to run it on a layout when I build one.

Nice looking Westside Ron, I have 2 ATSF Mikes both extensively, no completely, I mean total rebuilds on a Max Gray and a Sofue from 1992 (I think- I need to look at the plaque) by a master craftsman here in US, they are the brass builders art full backhead with glass faced lit gauges , one of a kind both of them with one built to the transition phase of rebuild and modernization with the white washed rods for use in crack detection dead on to the photos we had, many custom made parts including all the plumbing for the ATS equipment on 3192 and it’s modernized appearance. I have 2 Westside’s unpainted in box yet.
Beautiful Eric. Tell me privately how you accomplish the smoke please. I'd love to try on an outside diorama.

No thanks Dave! 😄 My asthma would never tolerate it. I'll enjoy them with the exhaust I add in my photos of them. 😊👍

That's one RY C&O caboose. Here's four more.
I wonder how many were actually produced.

Tangent is going to be in Chicago at the 2 rail meet. I am looking forward to seeing what they have and what their direction is going to be for future releases.
