Sound of Steam board wiring

I have a S.O.S. board from 1989 that came in my DL&W Northern. I since upgraded the engine to a QS3000. I have a new application for the SOS board but I dont remember how it is wired. There is a 3 pin harness with black, brown, and blue wires. The brown to center rail & black to ground get me the whistle but I dont know where the blue wire goes. Any help would be appreciated.

The blue wire goes to the chuff switch in the locomotive. You ground that with the switch to generate the chuffs.
