It was pretty warm in Chicago over the weekend and Monday, so I took advantage of the cool basement at the height of the heat, popped on some good tunes on the downstairs stereo, and bashed together the last of the benchwork. Reynolds Aluminum and COD gorge (Chasm of Doom) are finally finished, just need to finish backdrops.
The track gang also laid the track to the east end of the town of Noname (No-Nam-E; that is a Poohawk word, the local Indian tribe, which translates into "We don't know this place's name").
I'm off to Portland on Friday for the NMRA National Convention. Looking forward to a week of model railroading!
Plenty of model railroading to do during the summer.
Regards,
Jerry
