1. Neither - dark green to match the bottom layer. Vertical supports can be battleship grey.

2. Invest in some foam roadbed made wide to accommodate Fastrack. It will help with sound deadening, is easily trimmed (even around curves) and is relatively inexpensive. Available on the big E, possibly in two different colors - grey and black and discussed in several threads here on the Forum.

3. Also, not sure how you make your power feeds, but I'd consider attaching your feeder wires to the tabs on the underside of the Fastrack using the crimps below and then drilling a hole down through the plywood at each location and hiding the wires along the inside of the vertical supports and then through the bottom layout and connect to your power source. You should be able to get away with 4 drops - one in the middle of each end and one in the middle of each straight. Makes for a neat and tidy installation.

Instead of just an oval on the upper level, I would have suggested a dogbone shape to add more interest and to make the lower level trains easier to reach in case of a derailment. Also, maybe you could add a passing siding (insulated, of course). A tunnel on the upper level on top of the lower tunnels would look cool, and you could make that section a mountain.

I like the upper tunnel idea.
