Just putting a plug in for Pennsylvania's New Hope and Ivyland Railroad's SANTA'S STEAM SPECTACULAR. …. being pulled by a Baldwin 2-8-0 from the 20's. A great time for the kids/grandkids.

I'm also plugging it because one of the steam community's senior friends, Ross Rowland, will be one of the engineers during December. There are also ride-a-longs in the cab, for a price. Spending an hour in the cab with Ross would be a wonderful experience. He is a genuinely nice man. With so much knowledge, yet humble.

Then, if you don't feel like cutting down your own Christmas tree anymore, take the CHRISTMAS TREE TRAIN over at Strasburg Railroad in Strasburg, Pa.
