Sunset Trains & Toys Set

Some of you are probably familiar with Jerry Loman's products, mainly buildings made in a tin litho style. He has done some specials for clubs or groups. He also makes a few train cars. I picked this outfit up from Jerry some time ago and just drug it out. It was designed for 1 gauge, but I put prewar Lionel O trucks under the cars. The engine came as a shell/frame only. I added all repro Lionel trim and it now rests on top of the cast frame of a Marx 1998 switcher. It looks almost like it is sized with the Lionel 256 & 700 series cars. Unusual set,

Steve, a very refreshing look - creative use of lithography, makes an attention-getting set.

 

Thanks for posting the link.  I have the "Ives Toy Factory" that Sunset made for the Ives Society some years back,and have always wanted more information about who made it.  I didn't know if they were still around.  Thanks!

I forget which division it is for, but he is making a replica of the "barn" where TCA began.
