I know this has been asked a million times but can't find what i'm looking for with the search.

So i'm trying to decide if I have enough room to put sound board down in my helix and I had asked a forum member and he thought a Husky stack car but wasn't a 100% on how tall it was he thought 6" ?   eh

So what's the tallest piece of RR eq. out there from top of rail to the tallest part of the car?

Thanks Eh

Elevated pantographs & trolley poles, cranes, Evans auto loader with oversized cast VW Bugs, and elevated booms on rocket cars set my height

6-1/4" from the railhead mininum. (6¼"+track). That clears those cars and semi-elevated pantographs (via double hooked .019 wire that limits extenstion)

Other lines are at 6-3/4" - 7"

I used 8 inches from rail height of one level to rail height of the next.  Double stack cars were the tallest that I had.  I have no idea if any of the accessory cars are higher because I don't run any.  I also was wanting "finger room" above the cars in my tunnels in case of problems.
