Replies sorted oldest to newest

If there is any metal left under all the rust, it be a real accomplishment to restore it by talented folks. Maybe CTT or OGR should issue the challenge.

I saw a restoration of some really junk passenger cars that were restored better then new by some Hollywood set producers, so it can be done.

Yes, plus the previous owner apparently never cleaned the underbody. The fuel filter, which is right out in the open in the engine bay unlike the one on the later KL V6, was the original with it's F2 part number when I bought the car two months ago. Frown No excuse for neglect like that IMO.
