Some electric trains!
Most of the railroading hobby has such a huge diversity and it is hard to keep up with. Traction, Diesel, Steam, Interurban, MOW, and on and on. I am not an expert on any one area of the hobby nor do I ever think I will be. Traction and or electric is one area I am very unfamiliar. I do enjoy these fabulous machines very much. I have a couple of samples worth looking at in this post. Overland Models and Precision Scale Company have given the HO enthusiast a wide assortment of electric power. Sharing some of these fine models is a must as many of them are some of the most successful projects offered in the hobby.
"Little Joe" General Electric Demonstrator
imported June, 2012.
Built by Boo-Rim Precision Co., Inc. of Korea.
I am always impressed how much filigree of detail can be brought into a fine scale miniature
Intricate Pantographs are fully functional and can be used for actual overhead operation
The PSC "Little Joe" has full engine room detail, a real plus in my book and something most brass importers are insisting on
EP-2 "Bi-Polar" E3
Imported 1994
Built by Ajin of Korea
The detailing on this model is astounding; nearly as complex as many steam locomotives
An absolute feast for the fan of machines. The level of business detailing in this locomotive is stunning.
