Fantastic!!!

Get this: I had a ten-year-old switch with a minor problem and sent it back to Ross for repair.

They fixed the problem and sent it back at no charge!

And, the turn around time was under 10 days. Unbelievable!

This is incredible customer service and something almost unheard of in this day and age.

Kudos upon kudos to Ross Custom Switches and I will be forever grateful.

Absolutely, positively fantastic!

Thanks RCS,

Larry

Great to work with! They know their products very well, and are willing to work with you as much as needed to meet your needs. They stand behind everything that they sell and do so in a friendly, supportive way.  I have nothing but positive experiences dealing with them, and have recommended them to other operators on several occasions.  Keep up the fine work, Steve and company.

Steve is the absolute best.  And not only is the above quote accurate, RCS is one of the few companies that I still call a "manufacturer".  It's great that the business model has worked for RCS, and I'm amazed other companies haven't followed the lead.

Case in point... if I have a question about the product, I call.  Somebody actually answers the phone... and sometimes it's even Steve himself.  Everyone who's answered a question when I call is VERY knowledgeable about the products.  And not only do the products work, they work EXTREMELY well and are reliable.

Most other companies in this corner of the world... when you call and ask questions about the product, you seldom get the sense that you're talking to someone who really knows what's going on.  And in some cases, you actually KNOW that they won't really know the answer until they see the product arrive from overseas several months (or years) from now.

No flame wars needed here about overseas vs. domestic production.  But what RCS does and how they do it is not rocket science.  Yet more companies elect to business otherwise.  I just don't "get it".  But I do want to congratulate Steve for starting a company here in the U.S., keeping production here in the U.S., being super knowledgeable about RCS products, and standing behind what RCS produces so well that the company has built a loyal client following.  How much of a recipe for success is that!!!

To this point, I have had a 13 year association with Steve (my wife for that same period of time has a profound crush on him). He took my hand drawn 30'x24' spaghetti track plan and converted it to a computer drawing which specified all the fixed radius track and turnout types. This became my initial purchase from RCS. The layout has grown since then and RCS continues to be the supplier. Steve continues to be a totally nice guy and is deeply committed to this hobby and pleasing his customers. I feel great every time I get to shake his hand and my wife gets a hug from him.
