Steve is the absolute best. And not only is the above quote accurate, RCS is one of the few companies that I still call a "manufacturer". It's great that the business model has worked for RCS, and I'm amazed other companies haven't followed the lead.
Case in point... if I have a question about the product, I call. Somebody actually answers the phone... and sometimes it's even Steve himself. Everyone who's answered a question when I call is VERY knowledgeable about the products. And not only do the products work, they work EXTREMELY well and are reliable.
Most other companies in this corner of the world... when you call and ask questions about the product, you seldom get the sense that you're talking to someone who really knows what's going on. And in some cases, you actually KNOW that they won't really know the answer until they see the product arrive from overseas several months (or years) from now.
No flame wars needed here about overseas vs. domestic production. But what RCS does and how they do it is not rocket science. Yet more companies elect to business otherwise. I just don't "get it". But I do want to congratulate Steve for starting a company here in the U.S., keeping production here in the U.S., being super knowledgeable about RCS products, and standing behind what RCS produces so well that the company has built a loyal client following. How much of a recipe for success is that!!!
