I have two tiu which I need for my six separate track. Now how do I connect both tiu if you can? Again all thank you very much. Sonny

use Barry's DCS COMPANION , it explains everything with pictures and descriptions, it is an excellent book!

The DCS Companion book will likely explain what you need, but for the rest of us to help, a little better description of what you are trying to accomplish would be useful. Mostly, are you wanting to run conventional engines, independently, on all six of your tracks? are you running conventional on only some tracks? are you running DCS command engines on all tracks, and no conventional?
To the best of my knowledge, each TIU will operate only 2 conventional tracks, however just 1 TIU may be enough if you are running all command engines.

Fellows: All my trains are mth, running on six separate tracks.I.ll try to read Barry book how to hook up two tiu together. Sonny
Why do you want to connect them together?
I don't have my 3 tiu connected. I have them set up in "super" mood and I can control all engines on all loops with the remote.
Be sure one TIU is #1 and the other #2. Split the 6 circuits betwen the 2 TIUS. On all remotes, set all TIUs to super mode if trains can travel between tracks. Be sure all transformers are in phase. Follow instructions in DCS Manual 5th Ed or Barry's book 3rd Ed on how to set up tracks
You need to be more specific as to "connect two TIU together" How do you want to "connect" them? Maybe you just need to be specific as to what your end result is and people can help you get there
Matt you are right. All six tracks are separate. All I run mht/dcs/remote. How is ever started and then have six separate I don't know. Now I have two mth/dcs where onlythe two fixed port work on each tiu. Varable do not work on both tiu. One tiu has fused and they are good, only on the in port, out port nothing. The other tiu has no fuses. Both give one blink. Question do I have to link both tiu with a phone wire? You know the same as you do with aiu. Now follow me If I take three separate tracks and tie tham together stick them in one fixed port, Then take the other three tracks and tie them together and stick them into the other fixed port that should all work yes or no. Sonny
If both give one blink, then both are set as TIU#1. One has to be changed to #2. Have you set up the variable tracks, as explained in the DCS instruction manual or the Barry Book?
Each TIU needs to have a transformer feed the input channels. One for Fix1 one for Fix 2, one for VAR1 as and example. Same for the second TIU. Each TIU must have Fix 1 powered or an aux input so the TIU works.
For the VAR channels you need to scroll up the voltage to get an output. The Fix pass through what ever is plugged in.
By adding each TIU with a separate ID #, TIU 1 and TIU 2 you can than control each one with a single remote. G
G: on my varables I have been using a lional 180 watt brick, I see on you tube where Eric Trains shows usine one tiu and power each out put with a brick. However Maybe my bricks are not 180 watts. I.ll try using my z4000 on a varable and see what happens.. I can.t understand what is wrong with my varables when the fuses are good. Sonny
Sonny, if you want to use the Variable channels as fixed you need to go into the menu and set the variable channels to fixed.
Matt: When I go to fix or rather try I get a out of range. What am I doing wrong. I try it and some times I get that it fixed. But it does,t stay. I must be doing something wrong. Any ideas. Sonny
Are you getting an RF out of range error
Matt: Yes I am getting a rf out of range error. Sonny
