TIU/REMOTE HOOK UP

Do you mean the tiu blinks 3 times upon powering it up? And the remote only has tiu 1 added to it?   No it won't work. The fix is to add tiu #3 to the remote and delete tiu #1.

  However when you delete TIU  # 1 all your engines are going  to be deleted as well.

The way  around this is to  do a factory reset of tiu #3

You should be all set to go...

Menu/ system/ Tiu set up.... lots of options re adding deleting editing.  A big help is the number of blinks  ,  the number of blinks is the actually tiu number

 1 blink is TIU  #1    2 blinks is tiu #2   etc. up to 5 blinks.

Thank you Gregg I will try what you said, sure hope it works, but if I do what you said I know it will work.  Just one more thing, do you  know of a good dvd?  Sonny

Look on the OGR website, they made a DVD on setting up and using a DCS system. It's older, but I think it does a good job of explaining things.

Actually, no need to go to the OGR website, top menu of this new forum layout has a link to the OGR 'Web Store' where the DVD is available under 'Instructional Videos'.

Gregg, I tried too do what you said, but someplace I made a mistake. I now have 4 red dots. So I tried  too find the 4 but only found 2 thng it jumped to 5 no 4. I think it is just me for now.  Oh yes I found on my tiu that both variable do not work now. Do you think that I need to put in a new (now my mind won.t let me know what is is) at 91 I.m getting shorted my self.  I.ll keep trying. will let you know.  Sonny.

That's a pretty nice and  good deal Sonny, go for it. 

Gregg I found out that there is something wrong with my remote. I had another one and it worked all under one blink.  So it looks like I.ll be using the one remote an two tiu.  Remember I have six engines running when I can get six running on six separate tracks, each about 16 ft long and 4 ft wide. If I need help I.ll call you Gregg.  Thank you for all your help and time you spent on me.  Sonny
