to manually clean the layout track.

(O) scale track is 1 1/4" wide. (1.25")

- The cleaning pads are "Not" wide enough to clean (O) scale (x2) track rails.
- The cleaning pads are "Not" wide enough to clean (O) scale (x3) track rails at the "Same Time".
- The base and handle are made from plastic.
- Some of the cleaning pads, are "Abrasive", scratching the track, increasing oxidization.

1/4" drive socket wrench
1/4" universal joint
1/4" extension bars (Different Lengths)

Warning: The wooden base must be (100%) "Flat".
- 1" (1.00") thick "Flat" wooden base (Finish Pine) 2 1/2" (2.50") x 2 1/2" (2.50").
- 1/8" (.125") thick cork. (Purchase Surplus - To Replace Cleaning Pad).
Assembly Procedures: (#1)

- Require 1" (1.00") thick 2 1/2" (2.50") x 2 1/2" (2.50") wooden block.
- From corner to adjacent corner (x2), mark out the center point of the wooden "Cleaning Pad".
- Drill 1/4" hole through the wooden block.
- Use sand paper to remove all sharp edges and drilled hole wooden slivers.

- Require 1/4" universal joint
- Carefully hammer down the 1/4" universal joint, (1/4" Male End) squarely into the hole.

- Place coarse sandpaper (40- to 60-grit) onto a "Flat Hard Surface".
- Sand the bottom of the wooden block to insure (100%) "Flatness".
- Roughly cut out a 1/8" thick cork piece, 2 3/4" (2.75") x 2 3/4" (2.75").
- Evenly spread out "Wood Glue" to the wooden block.
- Now apply the 1/8" thick cork piece.
- Place the wooden block with the cork applied, "Down" onto a "Flat Hard Surface".
- Allow the "Wood Glue" to dry for (x24) hours in a warm environment.
- Using an "Exacto" sharp knife, remove "All" excess cork from the wooden block.
