Great details on the layout! Did you put the passengers and baggage in the cars yourself? Regardless, they look great!
@Mark Boyce @DoubleDAZ@mike g. Yes and no. Lol! They come with passengers Kline K4630-10503 set. Some were lose when I got the set, so my wife added some that we have to replace the ones that fell out, plus we added some diversity figures. Here are some new additions today.

I’m curious, do the lights flicker when going through all the switches or just the O-45 in the inner loop?
Lights flicker on different spots. I have to check the pickup rollers on these new old cars. Only a few flicker and not all the time, which typically is a pickup roller issue, in my experience. There is WAY too much power on this small layout, lol.
@DoubleDAZ I have power in way more spots than needed. As I was just practicing hooking up everything, but this layout calls for maybe 4 drops...I did like 10 or so 😁😁😁😁😁

@DoubleDAZ as suspected, pickup roller issues, springs on a couple cars are missing. I found the observation car for this setup online and took it into the shop to repair yesterday. Based on your question on this topic, i checked the cars i got from my dealer and they too have missing springs, so thanks for asking! I just emailed them to let it be known we need these fixed too. I got a great deal on the observation car which is in great condition minue no springs on the two trucks. Easy (somewhat) fix. They are KLine, so parts will be more of a fabrication than just ordered.

@DoubleDAZ yeah, i learned early on if there is powered and the cars are blinking, it is probably pickup roller issue or track is dirty. I have a block that I clean track with, weekly, so i know it is not dirty and as said before, PLENTY of power, therefore it will 99.9% of time be pickup roller on my layout.

@DoubleDAZ tyvm! Most of the smaller details are actually my wife. The small rocks, dirt, etc is her. The water and larger things are me. Nice combined effort. I 3D printed the pond near our house on the mountain and she did the rock work, deck, etc around the pond. I did the water and Rhoney our dog who passed. She planted the corn and used actually dirt from our garden. The little sticks you see all around are from our garden as well. She has an old muffin pan where she keeps different little bits for scenery. It is the cutest little thing. I am truly surprised I have this ability. Very weird to me. I was telling her today that all this is not written down and has been flying by the seat of our pants. Very strange. 🥴🥴🥴🥴🥴

@DoubleDAZ yes! I did not want to wait until next week. This set is near and dear as I do not like the silhouette passenger cars and we have a 1953 pristine set that I conviced my wife to not run. I wanted something newer that I like but pay homage to her and her father.

@mike g. @DoubleDAZ @Mark Boyce Thanks guys! Unfortunately, I have to wait for next week to take front A unit back. It wont program, so the rear unit is pulling the train and pushing the front two units, or it would run smoother. That speed is 60-70% throttle...ugh. Needs to have it that high just to move. It will be better once the shop is back from York.
