Looks like it’s working fine now. Did you try backing cars into the house yet to see how that part works?
@DoubleDAZ I did not. I need to do that this weekend. @mike g. @Mark Boyce updates
I just noticed the fire by the farm house, nice touch. Believe it or not, but the Mikado is my favorite steam engine, though I do like to watch Shay’s work.
The Mikado is running nicely. It just occurred to me your stone bridge with sightseers on it reminds me of the bridge in Connellsville, Pa that was still there going nowhere. It has been a long time since I was there, so I don’t know if it is still there
@DoubleDAZ it is mine too! I love the sounds of this locomotive. 2 weeks without it was painful ...lol! It is so heavy and well made. @Mark Boyce I am not familiar with that bridge, but that is exactly what I was going for, an old bridge that they started to take apart but left it. I wanted to get it gentrified as a destination to hang and watch the trains and city. Elevators to take you up to view the trains.

Final Saturday update -
@DoubleDAZ@mike g.@Mark Boyce guys I was turning in one of the units for my new Santa Fe set (2nd time) to get fixed as it won't program. The owner made an unbelievable offer for this new set Lionel F3 from 2002, never run and NIB!! I cannot believe this deal. Oh my! Amazing detail quality, doors work, multiple figures, heavy dummy unit, just WOW!
Wow! Looks really nice.
@DoubleDAZ tyvm! Love this set! I cannot believe we are the 1st ones to run this 12 years after it was made. Never opened or ran. WOW!
Ken, it’s a beautiful set for sure! What a great addition!! As my brother (not a train fan at all) would say about other things, “It’s a classic!” 😃
I’m still impressed with how much "action" you’ve been able to pack in such a small space and it all works together.
Hey ken I have been away from the computer for a week, but just went back to where I left off to now and wow you sure have done some wonderful work along with your wife! The new train looks great and your layout is really looking wonderful! Keep up the good work and I also hope you got your switch machines figured out!
@DoubleDAZ@mike g. Thanks guys! One of my son's came over last night and is blown away. We showed him some videos of when there was a bunch of junk in the middle to now. He was so surprised, especially the difference from the last time him and his gf were over as the 4 of us went to a Trenton Thunder game in August. My wife and I were just talking the other day about how, one I was not into trains until Dec last year and two, everyone(including me) is surprised about my creative side...lol. 🙃
I'm glad your son liked it!!
Ken you and your wife have done an amazing job! Congratulations to you both!
