Trackside for this fine Thursday! " Busy-ness as usual on the team track."

Well it looks like the mid-morning commuter/shopper's special is light this morning and the assignment has been given to the Alco S-2 end cab to move a few cars from Small Town down to the main area of the City.  This is a Kline S-2 with twin motors and she pulls really well.

Like Lee...here is a Kline MP-15 from UP next to a busy street and moving out of the wharf area through the industrial section towards Small Town - and from there she will likely head towards Atlanta.

Track side today - Otis from the US forest service stops by for a BBQ with Bodean, the Butt Valley Reservoir caretaker. While a family returns from what looks like a successful fishing excursion. A Santa Fe freight looms overhead.

Don sorry for the late comment but I like that Mack AC Good Year truck looks good besides that Locomotive. Thanks for sharing

I find a way to include this metal train on my Christmas Layout each year since 2015.  This was a Christmas gift from my sister for 2014 and she unexpectedly and quickly passed away a few months later.  So this is my small ways for remembrance of her for 3 months each year.

Delivery of wrecked caboose body for use as a shack.

TRACKSIDE FOR THIS FINE THURSDAY:  Brakemen Rocky Simmons and Hank Grafton at work this morning on the local way freight.   Rocky motions to the engineer to stop.  Upon making the joint Hank will connect the air hoses.  

The Lionel SR U-36b passes in front of the platform where the Depot passengers are waiting and the diner where the local Corvette club is holding its luncheon meeting.

@lee drennen- Hey Lee I forgot to add to my post , thanks for the compliment on my "Goodyear" Mack truck.  Believe it or not, I think that was a $5 "Drug Store" find, just luck as I was passing by.
