Since I'm fairly new here I figured I'd share a few photos from my trips so far this year. CSX and NS are the major Class 1s near me (I live in Central Kentucky) but there's a few short lines in the area plus some regionals. The stuff I see in real life is the stuff I want to model in O scale.

The two overhead shots were taken from a highway bridge in the Daniel Boone National Forest. It's very isolated, only two cars went past me on the road I was on during the four hours I was there! There's a total of four high bridges in the woods back there, they're great photo ops, especially in the autumn when the trees have turned.

I use a Canon 70D, with an 18-135mm lens I got with my Canon 60D. I also have a 70-200m L lens. I use both cameras and lenses for my motorsports photography, but they come in handy for trains too!
