Train shows/layouts/other train related in Scottsdale, AZ | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

I will be in Scottsdale, AZ in a couple of weeks and would like any ifnromation on any train layouts,shows oe other train related things to see that might be there in early February. Or any other info I might find helpful. Thanks.

There is a nice train club in McCormick park with various scale trains and a small gauge riding train.

McCormick Railroad park certainly is a must see. There is a spectacular new building housing three club layouts in N, HO and tinplate in addition to a 15 inch railroad and numerous exhibits.

Also, on a weekend, visit Adobe Mountain Park, off I-17 and Pinnacle Peak Road, where there is a huge 7 1/2 inch gauge outdoor railroad, G gauge, HO gauge and tinplate layouts.

...That railroad in Adobe Mountain Park is the Maricopa Live Steamers.

They offer rides to the public on Sundays. A definite must see!
