Doug,
As a alternate, you can make your own tunnel portals, I made my own using a 1"x 8" pine board and used a jigsaw to cutout the required portal opening, sanded and painted the portal a flat concrete color. I have seen two track but no three track portals offered by vendors.
John, what do you use for "flat concrete color"?
I believe rustolium offers a few real nice textured colors in the rattle can section of the big box stores. Its what I use to create concrete sidewalks in dioramas
What caolor did you select? I've always had a problem getting a realistic-look color.
Doug,
The paint I used was Dutch Boy Dirt Fighter color Subway Station flat latex white base color code 8A-1 purchased at Menards in 2004. Still have half a quart in plastic twist and pour container just painted bridge piers this color.
John
I use Rustolium flat Gray Auto Primer. Looks great. Don
This is a great product for tunnel portals if you're looking to carve your own...
Thanks for the color & paint info.
Hi Doug. Hope you are enjoying FL. I took a Scenic Express two track portal and cut it half, trying to retain all the center features. I then took a matching wall piece and cut it so it would interlock with the portal cuts. Then I reinstalled the arch and keystone and repainted with grey primer.

Hi Don, yes Fla is nice. Will you post or send me a picture of your portal. Thanks.
Forum Sponsor, Scenic Express, shows a double portal that is extra wide. You may be able to fabricate a triple from this.
Great Doug. I did it to span two wider tracks but the principle is the same. I will look for a photo. If not, I will take one tonight when I go to the club.
Thanks Don!
