Folks,
I got a couple two-axle Marx cars in a box lot that I'm not intersted in. Is this something someone would want, or should I chuck 'em? Both have some scratches and a little surface rust; lettering is intact but a little faded. If anyone is interested, I can go use another computer and upload pictures, which I don't seem to be able to do with the iPad. One is a NYC tender, the other a Middle States Oil ATSF tank car.

People collect the "6 inch", which that sounds like...I don't but some do. And I am not
for throwing out any old toy, even if it is Lionel
, and the 49th version. You might as
well collect the two bucks or whatever it is worth.
They are also known as "4 wheel" cars, and they are very collectible.
If you go to the Marx section on the on-line auction site (and search in that category for "4 wheel"), you will see these cars going for from $10 to $50. Prewar Marx Tinplate has a charm of its own.
