Featuring a singular CPL...on a gray and cloudy day, Norfolk Southern decided to start a fire, and placed semi-perennial run-through unit UP 1983 on the point of NS 13Z as it headed south into the heart of N&W CPL country. Though I generally don't go out for heritage units, like cloudy days, and really don't like crowds, since it was a weekend I took a chance and tried to get a few shots in. I did OK, I should've done Bentonville instead of Acorn Hill, messed up and went to Stanley instead of Wilsons, and there were two times where folks (including myself) got in each others' way.
