From the looks of it those engine might be on the way to the scapers or rebuild. The lead UP engine road markings were reading out. Still cool though.

Maybe to rebuild, but certainly not to scrap. That is a late model GP40-2 or maybe even a GP60, and looks to be MUed within the consist.
A couple more pics. The loco was still there on my way out of the city.
I've seen this one come through Bloomington/Normal IL from time to time. There's a small siding in Bloomington. Here's a photo I posted a while back...
