The consist of the Erie Lackawanna Dining Car Preservation Society's fleet stood out... but without steam, it seems to me the affair was a pretty lackluster event in comparison. Something is better than nothing I suppose and it's always good to see living examples from Alco..I heard the shop was extraordinarily clean and neat prompting some wags to grouse about a lack of progress etc. However their shop switcher seems to be in the final stages of a rebuild among other things. Thought others might want to see this.
