Forum sponsor LBR offers "SMOKE CLOUD" smoke fluid so I thought I'd try some in my childhood PW 675. This test was a first for me for a couple of reasons. First, I'd never used liquid smoke before; only pellets up to now. Second, it'd be the first time I've used the Crest rollers that a lot of folks recently purchased.
There are two short videos. The first was a 3/4 view. During the video I readjusted the angle of view to provide better contrast in order to more clearly see the smoke.
The second video is shot from a more overhead perspective. Again, this was done to better show the volume of smoke output.
Conclusion: This is an excellent product. Very easy to use with the supplied pipette. Smoke output is better than the pellets. There was no noticeable aroma/odor. I didn't try to measure how much smoke fluid I used, but I can say that I probably ran the 675 for 15 or so minutes to "empty" the engine of the fluid and gave up as it was not showing any signs of diminished smoke.
