Hello all

Recently a scratch built NYC Hudson in standard gauge surfaced ...unknown builder ...so far.

Huge motor with drive shaft down to center drivers like a standard O scale engine. Runs very smoothly,.. heavy brass chassis ..sheet metal body,...tender is rather plain Jane...with SP!!!...it was found on the west coast.

Manual Lionel reverse in cab .

Roughly the same size as the Randall Hudson ..so 3/8ths scale +-

Some amazing workmanship there. I noticed that the video only shows it running on straight track - the wheel flanges appear to be too shallow for tubular curves (especially on the drivers) - is that correct?

I wonder if the builder also made cars to go with it. Had to be an obsessive labor of love for the builder.

Hello all...Unknown what radius it will require,...currently laying the track with 72, 87 and 96 diameter,.,,hopefully one will work

The engine surfaced on the west coast ...beyond that no history,..yet
