Wall and ceiling paint schemes

I would go with a white ceiling.  Nobody notices a white ceiling.

I did grey on bottom, sky blue where would be seen with layout and white ceiling and have no regrets.

Thanks Ray, I hadn’t considered doing the lower portion differently. Any reason for painting it gray rather than doing the entire wall blue?

I think grey doesn't show scuff marks etc, where you are usually hitting the wall as that's where a lot of layout work gets done and like Ed said the white and I think also grey does not hold your attention like the blue will. In the end it is whatever you would like to have.

Dark laminate floor, sky blue walls, white bulkheads and ceiling tile. However, the color of your layout surface and wall treatment change things up dramatically.

I would do white ceiling and sky blue seamless heavy paper walls. You can cove hard turns on your walls with the seamless paper. I then air brushed the clouds on the walls. I used velcro ships to hold up the background. Seamless paper is available at most photo shops and come in long rolls and heights. I bought mine a Film Tools (https://www.filmtools.com). Velcro strips at most hardware stores. You can see in the photos there are no sharp corners. Don

I would avoid a blue ceiling, unless it is a very light blue. Mine was much too dark a shade of blue and made the room too dark.

Bob, beautiful! I like your floor, I used a black/grey indoor outdoor carpet which makes it very hard to find those little pieces I always drop.

Sherwin Williams did Cloud wall paper.  I have two different papers.

Click-lock from Lowes, installed over Dri-Core, on a basement slab. Laminate is very hard - when I drop something, it always bounces several feet in the direction opposite from where I am looking for it!
