One of these just went for big bucks moments ago on eBay. I didn't want to bid high because I had the biggest part of it, the tanks, pulled out of a junk box and restored. And I already had them in place with the rest of the items
shown in the kit and auction scratchbuilt, EXCEPT for the car unloading apparatus, which I can't find a good picture of, kit or prototype? Anybody have a copy of instructions from this kit or know a site where I can see prototype unloading mechanisms? I have this facility for Skelly Oil and am building another for Frontier Oil with an old kit that uses antique wooden tanks, with another old kit that has a tank car up on a trestle, but it doesn't include a trackside unloading apparatus. Somebody on here has/had the Walther's kit for $75, which is cheaper than what it just went for on eBay, although the eBay one was assembled. All of this to justify tank cars, horsehead pumps, and oil derricks.
