Great purchase Jeff. How do you like that Kato signal? I have been wondering about adding these but hesitated because I would have to re-do some track and also the cost factor.
Jonny i don't know yet. I just bought this yesterday and has to be shipped yet will get it next week.
Jonny i forgot to tell you the list was 32.99 thru www.modeltrainstuff.com for the signal then i got 10% off 29.69
Jeff, that is a great price as I remember my LHS wanted a lot more for it. Keep us posted as you install and use it.
The Lehigh Valley was a railroad of many paint schemes. Pictured below are three N scale locomotives modeling three different LV liveries for us.
The 303 is a GP18 by Life-Like. The 303 was one of four units of this type delivered to the railroad in 1960. Numbered 302-305, all four GP18s served the LV for the balance of the company's existence and were conveyed to Conrail upon its inception being renumbered as the CR 7496-7499 in the process. In decorating its Lehigh Valley model, Life-Like showed excellent attention to detail in placing the "F" for front at the short hood end as the prototypes were configured to run with the short hood facing forward.
The 625 and 626 are C628s by Atlas. The 625 and 626 were part of the road's initial order for C628s. These units were delivered in 1965. A second single unit order was placed and received shortly thereafter. A third group of second hand C628s was subsequently acquired from ALCo by the Lehigh Valley in the form of refurbished units which had been traded back to the builder in exchange for C420s by the Monon. Atlas' 626 is painted in the as delivered "Snowbird" scheme while the 625 sports the red livery into which the unit was repainted from white at a later date. The 625 and 626 were renumbered as the Conrail 6721 and 6722 upon the Lehigh Valley's inclusion in Conrail.

Just received the PRR Micro-Trains freight car on the right and on the left is a similar car made by Atlas I received a few days ago. The Micro-trains are always ready to run for me with the Kadee style couplers, so along with the extra fine details they will always be my favorites. I had to replace the Rapido type couplers on the Atlas with a Kadee compatible coupler.
