Here are some shots from last weekend's Greenberg show in Monroeville, PA.  At this show, we had 4 sets of Vision reefers and 3 of the new PS-1 sound cars running - sometimes all on the same train!  The sound cars were a big hit with our audience!

The first picture is of Thom's (DOC) custom car to honor a fallen member.

And immediately after tear-down of the layout in Monroeville, we went straight to Kennywood Park to drop off modules and supplies for our Kennywood Holiday Lights setup which begins in just one week!

He's a shot of my Lionel Conrail SD38, and SD40's patiently waiting for their turn in the body shop to get a scale coupler, full length handrails and some weathering.  Lionel has done a great job on these.  They have accurate road specific details, kinematic pilot, and they run and sound great.  I look forward to taking advantage of the provided Kadee coupler mounts and making these look as real as possible.

I think I finalized a track plan :) I ordered some buildings as well. Now I have to find some time to to build the train table.

Nice photos !   I particularly like the last two.  Beautiful countryside.  I'd love to have grown up in that house.

Christopher, as always thanks for the great images. Hope the family is well and good luck with the new house. Maybe we'll see the new addition running trains soon?

I had the pleasure to have the LCCA Traveling Box Car #37 at my layout the following 2 weeks. Here are some photos that I took with my iphone of this car on my layout.

If you right click on a picture and then click "open link in new window", you will get a full scene shot that will give a lot of detail...  Hope you enjoy and I appreciate you taking the time to look.

Scott, can you share any background on the sign?  Quite interesting.

Thx,

Bryan

Oh yes the sign. This was from the power plant where the Virginian powered their Electric locomotives. The building was demolished and several people dug through the rubble to find this.

"Dr Frankenstein" has been at it again. Cobbled this project together with some new parts and a bunch of things from my "boneyard" of locomotives.

This passenger shark *hybrid* features:
o Williams body & frame
o MTH trucks & motors with a Williams E-Unit
o fixed pilot
o Kadee coupler
o cab figures
o LED headlight
o Trueblast Plus digital sound.

Until and unlesss someone produces a new batch of BP-20s (six axle, 2000hp passenger Shark) these will suffice.  Besides, what locomotive doesn't look good in Tuscan red with gold pinstripes?
