Have not posted in a while, been busy.
I have been working on a scene on my upper level, and it is close to getting finished. Need to put in barbed wire fence, diseased trees, cows, paint the river bed, float in two part epoxy for water. plant more trees, add details etc.............................................
Some photos showing progress as the scene developed.
The scene I'm working on is down on the end of this aisle, top level, blue backdrop.
A shot about a week ago.
As of this evening. Stuff still drying.
Going to go downstairs now and paint the fascia black.
Lots of progress to show at my next proto-op session on 20-Jan-17!
Regards,
Jerry
I found an old Ulrich HO track cleaning car in all wood kit form that was a mess to say the least. I had to tear it apart and rebuild it including steps, grabs and brake wheel. It's finally coming together.
Since it is snowing like crazy outside, might as well paint fascia,
Before fascia painting.
After fascia painting. The paint is still a bit wet in the photo.
This has been a very nice model railroading kinda day. This afternoon, put in some time on my friend Al's Northern Illinois. He has to get his railroad ready for the NMRA Division layout tours in April 2017. We enjoy sharing "horsepower hours", and the Boulevard Wheat beer went down pretty good too.
That was this afternoon before the snow started. I've switched to Don Pedro Mexican Brandy.

Jerry
Great pic's guys keep them coming like to see more!!!!
Sam awesome pic's
WOW!!! You folks are awesome modelers. Chessie your video was a welcome relief from the all the noise pollution. I love just the sound of the wheels on the rails. I'm not a fan of motive power sound effects.
