Excuse the double posting of the same picture, I was experimenting. Wanted to show my MTH Pennsy/LNE Mike. The locomotive was modified to really appear as an LNE engine. The doghouse was removed from the Tender, and the engine was weathered to appear as a real working engine. Work was Done by Brion Boyles of Dale City, Va, and I thought it turned out very well. He's now doing another one for me which will include renumbering.

Nice Pic, Marty! It looks so real, so warm and inviting!

Here's a picture of my newest engine rebuild. The slug set is a GP7u with ERR DC commander and a RS F3 sound unit. The slug is built from a GP7. The back truck of the slug and the front truck of the GP7u are powered. The units are MU'd together but the GP7u can run without the slug. First pictures on forum.

Love the Geep and slug set. Have been thinking of making a slug for a while and this gives me the inspiration I need. Awesome.

Not much has changed on my layout this week but I should have something by Sunday.
I had those GM&O F-3's in a ABA set from BLI in N scale
They had DCC and sound .I always thought the GM&O colors were the prettiest next to the red and silver warbonnet's .
Hmmm I may have to pay a visit to the Atlas web site???

Hadn't planned it this way but with the GM&O, B&O, and C&O among them; Ohio seems to be the common denominator! My Dad was born & raised there (Cincinnati) so I have this as a memory of him.

C&O crack manifest train The Speedwest, emerges from Short Mountain Tunnel and enters Tunnel Interlocking. The train is on an emergency detour through Pennsylvania via the Harrisburg, Horningsford and Western Railroad (AKA The Mattawanna Route).
Curt - A momentous occasion; my very first post to Weekend Photo Fun!

I still think Photo Bucket is easier. BF
This is what you can do with a $256.00 Lionel Mikado Jr.
I shortened the draw bar a half inch.
I added grab rails to the cab and the tender ladder and $11.50 worth of Micro Scale decals.
Now it matches the caboose it pulling.

Mr. Nabisco,
The photos are actually much larger.
Click the photo icon and it enlarges.
We are also benefitting from larger upload capacity and resolution.
You'll get used to it.

I agree with MrNabisco.
When I click the photo it opens the same size image, sometimes smaller, but with better resolution. Kind of a pain to have to click each photo vs. scrolling through the thread. A much less enjoyable experience. I do not like the new format. I do like everyone's photos!

My Legacy with my 4 180 bricks feeding the DCS unit.

Beautiful photos! I have to agree with Don and Mr. Nabisco about how the photos are displayed here. Some of them look squashed sideways as posted.

First time that I have decided to post photos. This is one end of my new layout that I started this past August. It's come a long ways in a few months!

Put the cursor over the photo and left click. It opens in a larger version. The little white marks in the lower left corner of the photo allow you to scroll through all the orginal posters attachments and the X closes the box.
Here's the pride of the N&W on my last layout....
