Thought I'd give it a try.  Here's a few picts of my 5' x 8.75' layout I made for my grandson (and guess who else) a couple of years ago.  It's still not yet completed....Thanks for looking.....  Wow--I can't believe adding picts was soooo easy.  IF I can do it, anyone can do it.  Tks OGR..

Wow! I tried it myself with the PhotoStitch setting on my Canon, but couldn't get lines matched up at all. Thank you Pete! I'm going to save this

Sean I can see it in this picture, you were bit by the bug and that thing has festered where you are now a full fleged victim of O GAUGE TRAINS. By the way, there is no cure and that's a good thing. Does sis still enjoy the hobby?

My sister didn't take to the hobby as much as I did but she's developed a slight liking to trains.

Thank you

No this is a roll of paper that I found  in a store that supplies stuff for teachers,  I have not been able to find it in Montreal,  but when  i went to Ottawa visiting my mother  the mall next door had it

I have one roll left at my son's place with the name of it still on the wrapping, i will try and get him to send me the information off the label and let you know what it is  if you want    but it is paper    and it tears if you let  kittens run all over your  set up ....  let me tell you  from experience

Interesting juxtaposition of hobbies!

Thanks!

Does the keyboard operate all the little diesel horns?

LOL! No, was I putting up train shelves and I happened to stage locomotives on an old Hammond M100 Organ which was still in the train room that is long gone.Thought it was a neat photo. I do have my Hammond C3 and Leslie 122 in my music room.

Thanks for the info. I had an M3 and a B2 that I ran through a Leslie 910. My brother stayed with music as a profession and the B2 and Leslie are at his place. The M3 is with my parents. Miss playing them, but 30+ years of computers pretty much ruined my hands.

Matte,
Hog Wash. Take it from a guy who spent 40 years beating and banging with his hands, twisting and turning screw drivers so he could get a dern good case of carpel tunnel and arthritis in his fingers.
You just have to loosen them digits up. I've had some pretty rough patches in my life and I probably wouldn't be here today without those 88 keys. Nothing on this planet relaxes me more. Trains are fun but they don't even come close.
I bet if you brought that M3 back home for a while you'd be surprised how much magic is still in those fingers of yours.

Most people wouldn't understand how someone can continue being amused by blowing 4 horns full-blast simultaneously over and over, but it's just FUN! Let's see if I can capture the WHOLE THING (Left side - Right side)

There is a lot of action in that 4 x 8 space Miss. Great detail as well. I love the Ted's Root Beer sign. I have to find the o scale version.

Nice pictures everybody.

This is a large round of photos, this week.  Yesterday, it took me over a half hour to go through this thread.  I spent another twenty minutes on it today.  Its nice seeing several layouts that haven't been on here before.

Lot's of nice photos everyone

Thanks..

If this helps you, I used styrene from Wal-mart 15"x19" .030" FOR SALE signs  for the body with Evergreen styrene square for inside the body surport. The rear power truck is from a Lionel GP (6-18853) that has the can motors in the trucks.  The slug frame is a old Lionel GP dummy frame. The MU cables are RC airplane 18" servo extensions cut in half with the female end glued under the front of the GP7u slug mother. The MU cables are for the LED lights, the Powered front coupler, the DC can motor and for the center and outside rails for AC power to the slug mother. (9 wires total but only 8 used) I weighted the slug with BB's in the styrene fuel tank but it needs more weight in the body.
