This week I present my only piece of N scale brass: an Erie Lackawanna SD45-2 by Overland.
The model meets Overland's typical high standard of quality. Whereas much N scale brass motive power was not built with the operator in mind, this particular model features lighting and a powerful, smooth running mechanism making it a pleasure to operate. In addition, features specific to the EL's fleet of SD45-2 units including low profile fans, horns mounted on the Engineer's side of the cab and the massive 5,000 gallon fuel tank are included. That big tank enabled the locomotive to travel the entire length of the railroad between Croxton Yard and Chicago without refueling.
Overland's N scale model effectively captures the commanding presence these units projected. Former EL survivors on Norfolk Southern's roster soldier on right here in my own backyard in New Jersey for Conrail Shared Assets.

First run this Summer of the LGB CSL streetcar my Dad left me.He loved running this one every Summer.
Always liked these small USA Trains engines, they pull well and never a issue after years of service.
It was a little tight getting a Decoder in but performs well with NCE DCC in it. GP-30's and S-4's run and pull 2nd to none and sound awesome. I'l get some video up soon. Busy Busy, Busy.
