The new bridge project over the south end of the intermodal yard....
Alan....have a great weekend everyone!
Rich
That is a classic shot.
Some early morning traffic on the AT&SF
Sunrise finds quite a few folks up and at it
Mikado 2480 pulls through with some early woodside passenger cars
The handsome S3 MR 261 makes the turn as well pulling some freight
Both together crossing the causeway
Great pictures guys!
Roger...yes, I installed it a few weeks ago and have been doing some adjusting. There is going to be another bridge at a lower level just in front of this one. Both will be crossing the isle so I have made the isle way section removable when needed so that a minimum of ducking has to take place. Also, this area will represent a canal with a sheet of 8 foot Aquatex acrylic that folds up and down for access through the isle. The bridges and water feature will be up for picture taking and down when access through the isle is needed.
Thanks,
Alan
Rich, very nice. Alan always like looking at your urban layout and all the kitbashing building you have done

AHHHHHH! The horror! LOL Sorry Pennsy fans!
Working the Sullivans Paper warehouse. WoW there is alot of play value in this little switcher! Few more industries to be added to the layout and she will be busy.
Chris
Got the B&M Blues!
Gary Great kit, is it wood, plastic or card?
Today fitted some chains to the 2 Shakespeare locos & double headed them, worked out fine except in reverse.

AMCDave,
I'm almost there!!! Only a year and a half in the making. The photos above were taken right after I videoed the train. I still have a lot of work to do but expect the new video to be released next month. I will be there at York if I get into Orange hall. Will not know until next week.
Ws, PennsyK4,
I will have nice piece about the Ore train. It is a classic train and one of my favorites.
Here are a few screen shots and the new cover. Hope to have some info on my website next week.
Rich
Holy crap Rich you have been busy! I cant wait for volume 3. FYI whenever my nephews come over (1 and 3 yoa) I just throw in volume 1 or 2 and they barely move on the couch.
Gary G you have a great layout, I enjoyed your webpage. How about some video?
Great shots everyone.
Jim are the tunnel portal and retaining wall commercial products or did you hand carve them out of foam?

Where did you get that station? It's beautiful!
James----It is a BAR MILLS KIT--laser cut wood.
ZETT----- Too many kits to build, but maybe if this old dog can learn how to do it--

Thanks Gary.
Liam it`s one of the Disney HO stations with a few bits added & a very little paint, may get a little bold and try a bit more.

One of my older yet favorite diesel locomotives. Released I believe in 1999/2000 Lionel's NYC RS11 Rd#8010 does not have all of the bells and whistles of the newer offerings, but she's one good looking solid locomotive.

A new business opened on the railroad this week: Industrial Sales Company. They sell and service heavy construction vehicles and farm equipment. Here the building inspector gives his seal of approval. Overhead on the upper line, a freight rumbles by headed by UP and SP power.

Joe
Joe,
They are from Scenic Express. The wall is one of those flexible foam products. All the Scenic Express products have great stone detail.
Jim
Thanks Rich...looks good...can't wait!
This photo is not of my layout and come courtesy of Lee French of Windermeare Florida. I believe that Lee ran some 60's Lionel space items as a tribute to the passing of Neil Armstrong recently.
A couple popular spots around town...
Do they sell cucumbers at this stand?
Nah, that's down the road. I'll show you his li'l business later. He's just gettin' it set up for the season, with cukes big as watermelons.
Liam....since you liked Jame's station, here is an example of using 8 of the Disney Main Street Station kits bashed together on my layout....
Alan
AWESOME PHOTO'S EVERYONE
ALAN I LOVE THAT STATION WITH THAT LIGHTING AND BACKGROUND
BEAUTIFUL
ALEX
You did a GREAT job - my unopened box sits on my workbench.... very motivating!
Dennis L.,
"a tribute to the passing of John Glen recently."
John Glenn has not passed - I beleive you are referring to Neil Armstrong.
