Excellent job. Was it an Williams by Bauchmann 44 Toner that you used the chassis? Is the body wood? It is gonna look great when completed. Keep it up.
My next steps have been using wire and the scrap box to add grab railings. These kinds of details are fun because they really elevate the model to the next level.
I've ordered some LEDs from Evan Designs (http://www.modeltrainsoftware.com/) that I'm going to use to build some headlamps that will sit on top of the hoods. These LEDs can be spliced right on to the wires for the incandescent bulb (that I have removed)
