I would like to see WBB:

Retool the F7 shell AND offer a scale F3 shell for that F7 mechanism.

Retool the PA and PB shell, correct the fuel tank and portholes-That's all.

Offer scale E8 and E9 shells for the E7 mechanism.

Offer all of these and the Alco FA's/FB's in Mopac.

Offer a 2-8-0 as done in HO and N.

Issue all the USRA steam locomotives(Light and Heavy 2-10-2's,4-8-2's,etc.) that have been offered in HO and N.Offer them undecorated please.

To get the SOO LINE GP30 from Bachmann it requires a large e-mail and letter campaign from at least 300 people to urge them to produce a minumum run of 500. Include images of real SOO GP30s in your communication.

They messed up the SOO GP9 and F7 graphics, so they did not sell fast enough for Williams/Bachmann, now the perception from those guys is that SOO LINE does not sell well.

It's been about 2+ years since it's been passed on to more than one member of the AA historical group that Weaver (Gary) would entertain the idea of doing their FA's in these schemes....if someone would provide the artwork........

To no avail.

The bruise on my forehead has finally healed.  The dent in the wall is still there.

What I would like to see is something other than the N5c caboose! We need a better caboose line-up for WBB.

Another that I would like to see is "Reading Company" passenger cars, currently there are non being made by Williams.

How about lower priced motor up-grade kits?

As at least one other person mentioned; I can buy a used powered Williams on an auction site for less then the cost of a set of new motors(plus shipping) to up-grade my non-powered diesel units.

Undecorated Ten Wheeler in Locomotive Black. Then I saw off the bell and replace with brass bell on top front of smokebox, unscrew the headlight and install and install new headlamp on shelf, front center of smokebox [Southern Railway style]. I have two 4-6-0s, a green and a black one and really like the engine. Don't run smoke and don't worry about sound.

I don't see why somebody wants something so slow, but to each his own.

My experiance is that I had to add a set of motors to an ABA set of diesels by Williams.

I bought a used two train transformer that has both 0 to 18 volts and 0 to 9 volts and has a switch to go between voltages and it works great with Williams engines that are somewhat faster than others. Not sure who makes it, but it looks like a kit version of a transformer however it was factory produced as I looked it up a few years ago on-line.

I only own one Williams engine at the moment with one on the way that I have just ordered. From my experience with my current Williams GG1, was that it runs way too fast and the lights on the engine and passenger cars way too dim as a result. The solution was either put 6 volt bulbs in all my passenger cars or put the motors in series. I went with the series rewire as my solution. Not a big deal, but that would be my only wish for what I would like to see Williams come out with.

Maybe what Williams needs to do is make their engines have approximately the same speed with all makes, like the GG-1 should run just as fast as a GP-9 or SD-45.

I have four SD-45's by Williams and a GP-9, the GP-9 runs faster then the SD-45's.

Have about six F-7 diesels, three powered and three unpowered, two of my F-7's are wired up to bridge rectifiers to keep the direction the same.

Another thing that got me just a bit is the motor up-grade kit from Bachmann for the Williams engines, as the motor up-grade kit runs about 10% faster then my older Williams when installed as instructions say to do.

I know how to wire stuff in series or parallel circuits because I learned that in high school, and some other wiring.

WBB should make some replacement parts and/or sell parts for most of their engines besides just everyday common parts such as electrical pick-up parts. How about some parts like the add-on dynamic brakes for GP-30's thru GP38's, and fuel tanks for older style diesel engines, also what about weights inside the SD-45's?

Another thing I would like to see is a five or six inch extension cable for the reverse boards, socket ends to the motor hook-ups.

It's far too late for 2012, and probably 2013.  Try 2014!

I would like to see Williams/Bachmann retain its commitment to conventional operation.  This is important!  Upgrades are available and doable for those who simply must have more bells and whistles.  Speaking of which, I would like to see the "true blast" programmed whistle eliminated and replaced with a proper whistle, one that operates only when the whistle button is pressed.

I agree that Williams don't need command control from the factory, just something else to go wrong.

Williams does have some operating cars and you can buy a remote control from WBB to operate them, will work with about 20 cars. Can not say if the WBB operating cars work on other systems or not.

What I want to see if better caboose selections!! Not more railroads but more models of cabooses; bay window, extended vision, work caboose.

Also instructions on their website for how to use E Z Streets, electrical hook-ups, track radius and size for a circle.
