Oh man, wish 475 could stay longer there so I could get to see it. Well, I guess I'll have to add that to things to do. My one aunt lives in VA, so that opens doors.

475 will be staying at Strasburg indefinitely for her life. She won’t be leaving anytime soon. I assume you meant 611. Yes she will be leaving on the 18th of October. The locomotive has another museum to go to afterwards, then to VMT in the spring.

No, 611 I will see as I will be there that day for the festivities of whistle blow, train ride and shop tours. I didn't know 475 was going to have a new home. I had thought(when I purchased my tickets) that she was only going to be at Strasburg for a limited time which was why I couldn't get the reunion of steam package?
Dave, #475 is owned by the Strasburg Rail Road. #611 is owned by the VMT. #475 will not be going anywhere. #611 will be heading south to the NCTM.
Hi,
I have called Strasburg Rail Road multiple times, 2 weeks ago they said 611 was leaving on October 18th, 2 days ago they said it will be there untill the weekend of October 26 & 27. Does anyone know for sure? Would someone please confirm or at least supply a phone number I can call beside the one on their website. I have hotel reservations for the weekend of October 19 & 20 & I'd really don't want to drive 5 hours with my family & find out 611 left.
Thanks,
Joe

Thanks for that clarification Mike. Now it makes sense why they said reunion of steam.
