The NS Heritage units are going to hurt me...... I'm assuming there are more coming in this issue.
SOUTHERN PACIFIC LEGACY SCALE H-24-66 FAIRBANKS-MORSE TRAINMASTER in the bloody nose paint scheme. These locomotives were commonly seen pulling the SP Peninsula Commuter trains between San Francisco and San Jose, CA. This would be a re-release as Lionel did the Southern Pacific H-24-66 FM TM in Legacy in the 2014 catalog and I can't find one anywhere!
Here's a YouTube link to a video of some FM's in the bloody nose and dark gray paint scheme.
last night in my dream i was playing with a lionchief 2.0 military train with an olive drab GP38 leading several missile and equiptment cars
i don't know
we might get some military stuff
Per email from Lionel, new catalog due out 1/11/24.

You missed out, but Beth at Public Delivery Track just had a custom run MTH Premier SP Train Master in bloody nose. They are unfortunately all sold out.
I'd like to see more big diesels (U50C, Centennial's) and turbines. Hopefully they bought MTH's tooling for those
No complaining about what's in it and what's not as well as the pricing and...
Tier 4 Emission Diesels
Berkshires
CSX Heritage Units
NS Heritage Units
21-inch cars for American Freedom, Southern, Amtrak and other promised liveries.
If we're dreaming, some C&EI 21 inch passenger cars. =p
I didn’t feel like reading through this whole thread so forgive me if it’s been mentioned, an O scale N&W CF & CG caboose!!!
You’d think with all the N&W engines out there, we’d have a legitimate steam era scale caboose. For that matter, the Virginian RR had them, also. If the popularity of “FANTASY” paint schemes continues, paint them for any RR! Come on for goodness sakes!
My wish is for a Scale Legacy RS3 in multiple road names. With the PRR being one of them of course. I believe that could be doable for Lionel without too much trouble.
@MR-150 posted:We do need a good scale Alco RS3 done
the 6 axle version would be good too
the new hope and ivyland had one in the 90s
Ummm.....a bigger can motor and a better gearbox in scale steamers?????
a second stab at a lionmaster allegheny woud be great
A better RTR Blue Comet set. The previous one was very meh and if Lionel has the MTH tooling for the bantam or imperail that would be a great improvement.
How about a Milwaukee Road 4-4-2 Hiawatha?? Us Milwaukee fans would like that.
How about this, locomotives that are painted the right color? Is that an option? If so I'd sign up for that!!!
Most likely will see Pere Marquette Berks again considering it's the 20th anniversary of Polar. The Hiawatha in legacy would be cool to see to. As a Reading and Northern fan I would also like to see some of their switcher engines done too.
if there was a polar express j class that would be epic
i know polar is gonna barf blast in this catalog and i'm gonna love every page of it
Maryland and Pennsylvania stuff would be cool. A North Pole central f3 lionchief passenger set would be cool. Also, anything csx, b&o, chessie, and wm would be nice.
idk know if this is possible
but some detailed heavyweight passenger cars that can go around an o36 curve even if meant for o54
any roadnames will do
in the process of restructuring my railroad for both freight and passenger service and i would like really good passenger cars

There is one on the bay for $450 right now.
@MR-150 posted:I would like one with updated electronics
And all the separately-applied scale details (grab irons, m.u. & brake hoses, coupler cut levers, etc.) that we’ve become accustomed to on higher-end locomotives.
Gentlemen,
Once again I’m requesting a scale sized SD7 and/or SD9. Dozens of roads and big production numbers. What’s not to like? 1st gen diesels are pretty cool and this engine hasn’t been produced by Lionel ever. Those so called SD’s they produced on a GP7/9 frame are forgettable. Not exactly a complex ask here. Been trying to get their attention on this for years.

Did you see sunset 3rd rails offering for SD7 & 9’s? Reservations are still open.
@Strummer posted:Get a Weaver RS3...
Mark in Oregon
For about the same price as weaver, you can get a railking RS3 with way better technology & the same level of detail weaver offered. I think what ppl want (myself included) is an intricately detailed RS3 with full legacy control & road name specific details.
norfolk southern AS416
LEGACY graffiti set with diesel and several cars covered with graffiti
graffiti steam locomotive
cannon car retooled to fire nerf darts
ps: is there anyway to make the time from now to the 11th go by faster ?
the suspense is crazy

No, but I have now! Thank you so much! I just placed an order for the demonstrator color — pretty neat IMHO. TMCC, Railsounds, electro couplers . . . what’s not to like? Can hardly wait!
lionchief 2.0 SD50 using the old 90s tooling
or any spartan cab EMD in lc2 would make me happy
the Fenix Pacific was loaded with spartan cabs all the way up into the Mid-National merger in 2017.
how do i convince my folks to upgrade to lionchief 2.0 ? they still don't understand the difference and its frustrating as i've wanted to upgrade to more powerful engines as i like extremely heavy trains/ trains that might fail a basic lionchief after awhile.
@Doug Kinsman posted:There is one on the bay for $450 right now.
Doug, thanks for the tip on eBay. Funny, I‘ve been looking for a Lionel Southern Pacific FM Trainmaster for over a year and nothing! I mention my interest in this thread and two pop up on the Bay and a OGR member pinged me with one! I bought the one from the OGR member. The members in this forum are great!

That wouldn’t be an RS-3. It would be an RSD-4.
Things I'd like to see - and buy. But aren't going to happen.
#1 4 me, cheaper prices.
No sneak peeks from the weekend?
@Terrance posted:No sneak peeks from the weekend?
i heard from a source on youtube that we may get the hiawatha . i can't confirm this but i have heard from 2 folks already
I will not say outright what steam locomotive are going to be in the catalog but there will be some scale 20th anniversary products that have not been seen since 2017, scale 8 coupled driving wheeled locomotives similar to the anniversary locomotive, scale 6 coupled driving wheeled locomotives, and 4 coupled driving wheeled locomotives. I do not know road names or any other specifics but these are the type of locomotives I do know.
2-8-8-2s?
